My boyfriend and I had such a fantastic evening at La Locanda del Gusto! The warm and inviting atmosphere made it feel so special, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pasta was one of the best we’ve ever had, and everything was so fresh and flavorful. The staff was kind and attentive, making sure we had a perfect experience. A beautiful spot for a memorable dinner in Sorrento!
Fish was very nice, and service pleasant enough, but almost deserted on a Saturday evening, even in March? Is there something we didn’t know?

We had the most wonderful meal at La Locanda del Gusto! From the moment we walked in the we were greeted with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Every dish was amazing, from the homemade pasta to the freshest seafood. The staff took such great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. It was one of those meals that we’ll talk about for years to come. If you’re in Sorrento, this place is a must-visit!
This was a pleasant surprise. So warm and inviting on a rainy night in Sorrento. The staff had wonderful suggestions and I chose the special mushroom ravioli with local cheese which was absolutely delicious. We also had the lemon chicken with local lemons and the carbonara. Another dish was the ravioli in tomato sauce. All were very pleased with their choices. Flavors were great, portions were plenty and we all left extremely satisfied. Would dine here again.
Harking from the rich flavours of Sorrentian cuisine, this homely family-owned restaurant offers a comfortable and warm dining experience. Had multiple pastas and steaks and all was seasoned nicely. The mussels were high quality and pretty delicious. The cod from the special menu had an enjoyable texture and well balanced taste. Coupled with the accomodating service (Chef Carmen is always smiling 😀)and laid-back atmosphere, this is a place to remember. Would definitely recommend!
Carmen owner/chef is phenomenal!!! We enjoyed everything we ordered.The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. Inside the restaurant is decorated with people signing the walls. I think anywhere else this would not work but this works perfectly!!! Part of the ambiance.Homemade pasta, meatballs, gnocchi, sauce…I could keep going. Definitely a not miss!!!
